Eating over recommended carbs.

Hi!
So everyday, I eat to or less my recommended calorie intake, which is 1300.
However, I eat more than my recommended carbohydrates intake. Sometimes up to double the amount I supposedly need. I just love bread and granolas.
Anyways my question is, even if I follow my calorie limit, will I gain weight if Im eating too many carbs? Or is it all about the calories? Thank you!

I believe it's all about the calorie intake and exercise out put, that being said, protein keeps me satiated longer than carbs do. The key is balance and moderation! If only I could always do this!!

Carbs are usually most of my diet (for health reasons, easiest for me to digest) and it hasn't hindered my ability to lose weight. I'm over what MFP recommends for me nearly everyday. I do notice though that I suffer from water retention if I'm way over. This is just my personal experience though. I would think if you follow your calorie limit you'll be fine.
