I do not eat before or during my 90 min exercise in the morning. I believe that I burn around 1000cal each session and the objective is that my body funds this from Stored Energy as opposed to from Breakfast.
ACCURATE?
Of course I consume a ton of water. A:42 / S:M / H:6' / W:124kg_273lb / BMI:37.5 / BMR:2200

What you are doing is called fasted exercise, and it's a great way to burn fat. If you are doing heavy lifting or many reps&sets, many people would advise you to take BCAA's to prevent muscle degeneration.

BCAA stands for Branched Chain Amino Acids and will not throw off your fasted workout. It comes in pill or powder form.

My trainer told me it is one of the few supplements actually worth taking.

I take BCAA's whenever I do heavy lifting in a fasted state.

As always, do your homework online about this and this is just a suggestion.

    Be well and take care!

Fasted cardio will use your stored energy, but be aware that this is a combination of glucose, glycogen, fat and protein (i.e. muscle).

I run fasted all the time. Works for me pretty good. Post run though, I feast
