Why don't I get sore muscles?

Just finished day 5 of the 30 day shred and have been doing additional crunches. I have sore muscles in my legs and arms but none in the stomach whatsoever. How can this be?

Perhaps you are not engaging the muscles there? If after a few you aren't feeling it while doing more...I'd say you are not doing the exercise properly.0

Soreness is not necessary for a muscle to be worked. If you’re getting a good contraction against resistance, the muscle is working.0
