Hi everyone, I've been on this weightloss roller coaster for a long time now. I know the drill. I know it VERY well! But I always seesaw with my weight anyway. The most success I've had was in 2009 when I lost 30 lbs thru diet and exercise (tracking thru SparkPeople). Then we adopted our last two children and I got caught up in a bunch of excuses . Fast forward 6 years and I've gained 60 lbs. it's amazing how slowly it creeps up on you! I figure that my weight gain averaged a little less than a pound per month. No big deal until 6 years down the road you step on a scale and it screams out that you've passed the 200lb threshold MONTHS ago! Wel...I know what needs to be done so there's no sense whining about it and just get it done
