"Bread makes you fat?"
Sorry. Yes, undoubtedly. Calories in vs calories out, carbs don't need to be avoided unless you have certain health concerns that require them to be limited.0 -
I've recently lost 103 lbs over the course of 16 months. I am currently on a four month plateau. I found a page on FB called Eat to Perform that stresses fat loss versus calorie deficit weight loss. Using calories deficits help you lose weight but you also lose muscle. Changing your eating habits to gain lean muscle and lifting will help you gain muscle to torch more fat. I switched to what they recommend. The scale hasn't budged except to gain 3 lbs but the clothes are fitting much better. It's scary because you eat more on lift days but it seems to be working... for me anyway. Just a different approach to what we all want!0

I have joined a program called Fit 4 Life. I lost 8lbs in one week. You start off with 4 days of 600 calories a day of protein only, to get your body into ketosis-basically a sugar and carb detox. There are free foods that do not go against your calorie intake. The next two weeks are protein and vegetables 500 calories of protein and 100 calories of a vegetable. Salads are free. They encourage to have a salad with every meal. After that you incorporate some fruit into your diet. I go weekly for a b12 & b6 shot, weigh in and get my weekly dose of appetite suppressants. I feel great and have lots of energy. I have tried everything and every diet and have not been able to lose one pound. I am only on my 2nd week but I would recommend this program to anyone that wants to permatley change their eating habits, loose weight and keep it off.0
