weighing scale numbers

A:42, S:M, H:6'0", W:124.5kg, BMI:37.5.
I'm hoping to loose around 1.5lb/W. But include a lot of Resistance in my routine. How does that affect the number on the scale? Fat reduction combined with muscle increase. Does it slow down the number you see on the scales?
