before taking vitamins and nutrient dense foods out of your eating habit, Ask a nutritionist. Someone who is actually certified to help you. Make sure of you're doing any kind of "low calorie" diet you take multi-vitamins. Good quality multi-vitamins.
Also in my opinion, if you think your body is sensitive to carbs, protein or fats than ask a professional.
Don't lose weight without doing it the right way or else you'll just gain the weight back plus some.

I'd say to refer to a Registered Dietician rather than a nutritionist. One needs a degree to be licensed. The latter doesn't.

I saw a post on here with someone talking about taking certain vitamins (from foods) out of her diet to see if she'll lose weight.
People want to guess at things instead of taking the proper and safe way. With your health I think it's important they ask a professional.0 -

This does not make a lot of sense to me.... Why would someone purposefully remove vitamins from their diet? Do you mean someone wanted to remove "calorically dense" foods from their diet? Say... avocados? Or peanut butter? Thereby the vitamins in those foods got removed and now they should supplement?0

I agree that if someone is going to go to that much of an extreme, they should talk to a dietician, as I think they probably don't have a clue. And I also agree that taking a multi-vitamin when on a severely restrictive diet is probably a good idea.0

I doubt it would hurt, but it wouldn't always be necessary, depending what you mean by low calorie. Even at 1200 calories per day it's not that hard to get adequate nutrition.0 -

Assuming 1200 is adequate calories for you, you can get adequate nutrition on a 1200 calorie diet. Whether you do or not depends on the quality of the diet. This is true of high calorie diets as well.
Taking a multivitamin isn't a bad thing, but you can't truthfully make a sweeping statement that it's always needed when dieting.0 -

The whole point I was tying to make was for people to go seek a professional. Someone who can help them lose weight, maintain or gain. What ever it is anyone wants.
Which is what I finally did and what I'm going to school for.
Plan and simple if someone wants to do it right they should go see a professional.
