MFPs minimum daily calories for a woman?

I've been using MFP for months now. Based on my original goals, it set my daily recommended caloric intake at 1200 calories. Which I was fine with. I've seen so many articles that 1200 was the lowest a woman should go.
I hit a milestone this week, and the MFP app prompted me, asking if I wanted my goals adjusted to match my new weight. I was thinking sure, go ahead. But when I checked it had set my daily calorie goal at 936. That just seems way too low. Below 1000 for an adult? That can't be correct or healthy is it? I know i'm short (5'1), but that still seems like a really low number to me. I would think there would be a minumum that MFP would not go below.
Thoughts? Should anyone eat below 1200 calories a day consistently?

Did you reset it on the iOS app? There was a bug in the app that was setting calorie goals below 1200. It was fixed with an update on the 11th. If you recalculated your goal before then go back into your goals and reset it to get it back to 1200.0

It was yesterday, but i'm not sure if my ipod picked up the update. I'll go do the update now.
Thanks so much for letting me know this!0
