Stomach won't go down.

I am a 53 year-old female, I have lost so far 33 pounds, and have 17 pounds to go. I have lost weight everyplace except my stomach. I am starting to look slim with this big stomach. I am pear shape. Also, I have been doing low carbs. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips.

    Don't give up - that might just be the last area you lose your fat from, you're doing great too - 33lbs down is awesome!!

    Have you been taking measurements or just looking in the mirror? Sometimes it's hard to notice the difference especially since you see yourself every day.
  • Keep up those veggies and some green tea, it'll keep the metabolism working. Some times the stomach is the last place for the fat loss. Mine is my thighs and stomach. However, I have soccer legs, huge quads, so it takes a lot for me to get the finer areas of my legs to lose fat. The stomach is a stubborn place for a lot of folks, but don't give up!!

    I've only reduced my abs by one inch, 35 to 34. :-(

    And take some of the lift heavy / weight resistance advice
