Adding exercise calories

My strength workout at the gym is not typical. Using medicine balls, boat rope, sled weights and such I cannot enter info manually. How do you enter calories burned from HR monitor in the app? I cannot figure it out. Thanks.

Not really much advice but when I weight train or do any training i wear a garmin heart rate monitor and watch to track how many calories i am burning coz like your self I was wondering the same thing, but problem now solved and it's the best thing I've bought for tracking activity0

Be aware that heart rate monitors are designed for steady state cardio. What this means is your calorie burns are (at best) a wild guesstimate.
In MFP to get a different wild guesstimate......you can use a general category under cardiovascular....strength training, circuit training, yoga....I know you're not doing yoga but at least the calorie estimate is pretty conservative.0 -
I thought there used to be a place to just put your calories burned? Maybe it is not on the app. I used to do it for cardio.0
