Your Opinion Is Needed!! (please) !!!
I really hope nobody minds me posting this here, but I'm just after lots of different opinions to help me with my new job.
So I keep hearing people out and about in general conversations moaning that they're aching here, this hurts, they are stiff there, etc.... Just wondering if that was you how would you feel if I asked you 'have you tried having a massage?' And how would you then feel if I said 'I'm a massage therapist'... and then maybe handed you my business card? Would you feel like I was preying on your weaknesses? Would you be annoyed at me for trying to drum up some business? Would you be touched that I care enough to offer a solution (even though you'd have to give me money to get it)?
I think word of mouth is a good method of advertising, but I don't want to annoy people and would like to know what people think might be appropriate (or not!).
All opinions very welcome! Thank you in advance to anyone who replies!!

I helped out a friend ( also a massage therapist) for 6 months when I was 17... apparently I have healing hands but I think you should offer the first one free or half price... then if they think you're good they will spread your work by word of mouth!.... there is nothing stronger than friends telling you they had an amazing healing massage from ( massage therapist) it goes like wildfire normally...
show them your magic that will be the best way...

id just think of it as you offering a generic solution and depending on pricing id book an appointment.
i say its a good idea. but maybe also see if you can get your current clients to refer people, thats usually very effective0
