Does anyone have a tracker they love that is not visible that tracks general activity level, calories burnt, etc? Thanks!

I have a Hexoskin. It is a tight vest that has heart rate and breathing sensors. On your phone, you pick out the activity you want to track and off you go. I use it primarily to measure my sleep quality, but have also worn it during exercise. I love it, but it is quite pricy. I’m just a geek on these things and had to have it.

Misfit Shine. I wear it in my bra.

Fitbit Zip, Misfit Shine or Flash, Jawbone Up Move. Just about all of the trackers that clip on can be worn invisibly. The 4 I mentioned do a great job.

None of the activity trackers do a very good job of tracking calories. The technology is not there. They track steps and calculate a general calorie burn, but are rather optimistic an their reporting.

Some will allow you to calibrate your workouts, which will give you a more accurate reading:

I eat back all my Fitbit adjustments, and I lost the weight & have successfully maintained for 8 months. TDEE is by definition the number of calories at which one's weight will stabilize, so my Fitbit burn = TDEE.

The only way to gauge the accuracy is to trust your activity tracker for several weeks, then reevaluate your progress. (And they're great motivation, too.)

I also have a Jawbone, but their customer service is so bad I cannot recommend them.
