This is kind of fun and I enjoy getting advice from others more experienced here, so I will have tons of questions to post lol :)

Ive been doing pretty good with this new lifestyle and have been thinking about doing a 1-3 day juicing detox to cleanse and lose more. Do you guys think thats a good idea or do you find that pointless? And would I gain weight back that I would lose on this detox even while still keeping up with this new healthy lifestyle?

You don't need to spend any money on a cleanse. Your kidneys and liver do that job already.

    Here's how you cleanse:

    1) Drink plenty of water (I go for 65 ounces)
    2) If things need a jumpstart, go for a fiber bar of some kind. That'll get the whole thing cleaned out ;)

Anything you lose in a cleanse will come right back on, except for MAYBE a little, and that little will be water weight. Just increase your water intake and you'll get the same result.

    Pointless.

You would only be losing water weight, which you'll regain when you begin eating again.

Don't worry about cleansing/detoxing. You get more benefit from eating the whole foods unless you want to up your intake of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. Then do some juicing, but be very wary of adding too much fruit or sugary vegetables like beets and carrots. Go for lots of deep greens like kale, chard, mustard greens, romaine, cabbage. I love adding in cucumber, tomatoes, sweet potato. Tumeric and ginger are also great. Too much fruit can wreak havoc on blood sugar levels, so add just a little to off the bitterness. Juicing only can up your cholesterol, you need fiber to stabilize your blood sugar and help clean out your GI tract.

Yep. As long as you have the organs, your body is cleansed of impurities.
