Losing after recovering from eating disorder

hey fitness friends! I've spent the last two years recovering from a pretty serious eating disorder and getting my body healthy again. Unfortunately I'm now at the difficult point where I've loved myself a little too much and would like to lose some weight in a healthy way for vacation this summer (and keep it off). I'm pretty nervous about falling into old patterns, so encouragement is appreciated.

Hello there! Welcome! I can relate to your post but would prefer to message about the details. I can say here that I support you and know that you can make healthy choices now regardless of your past. It is not going to be easy but it is going to be worth it! I'm here if you ever want to talk, bounce ideas off of me, etc. I'm non-judgmental and would love to help you in any way I can, even if it's just in the form of listening. Feel free to friend me if you'd like to add me to your list. let's do this, shall we? :) Anna

Hilbertgirl, you've already discovered (or rediscovered?) our little group, so I'll pop the link here for Yanska and anyone else who is looking for support with recovery or staying recovered.

Obviously anyone dealing with an ED should be getting professional help as part of their recovery, we certainly can't provide that, but we can share what works/worked for us and provide support and encouragement to each other.
