Lifting for General Fitness

Would love input from someone who's been lifting awhile just to be fit and lean.
This is not one of those I just want to be toned posts.
I've been doing strong lifts and as I'm going up in the weight I can lift I am wondering how high a weight I should expect to need to go to.
I'm just lifting to get fit and be lean and until I get to my desired weight I need to stay at a deficit. So I'm not expecting muscle gain for some time. It occurred to me though I have no idea what weights to expect to get up to in order to reach my goals. The weight set I have now goes up to 260. It's an Olympic set so I know I can add more to it but I'd like to have some idea of how much to expect to get up to.
I'm not scared of getting big muscles I'm just curious at what point i might be able to maintain. I'm aware it's unlikely that anyone can give me an exact figure but I thought maybe a ballpark might be possible.
I just want to look/be fit. I'm thinking 25% body fat or lower since I'm female maybe as low as 15 but i'll decide that later. I want to be stronger than I am but I'm not concerned with whether or not (for instance) I can squat 1 1/2 times my body weight. I'm squatting 115 right now which is a bit over 60% of my body weight (not sure if that matters). I just finished my 6th week of SL.

Go as high as you can, for the rest of your life. You don't have to turn into a competitive powerlifter, but always challenge yourself.0
