Any suggestions on working out and training for a marathon while trying to cut calories? I never seem to get full at night.

My suggestion would be that you need to fuel your workouts, and you're attempting to do an awful lot on while on a calorie cut. Perhaps consider focusing on one, possibly two things, instead of everything all at once

I would say that if you're training for a marathon and you're still wanting to lose weight, to perhaps eat back some of your calories back from your workouts, particularly if you've done a long run that day. Your body will need the fuel. Consider getting some energy packs for your run like Gu or PowerBar that you can suck back on around the 10km mark so that your body has enough energy to keep going. The other thing you'll want to evaluate is how much protein and fibre you are regularly getting in your diet. Because your body is taking a beating during training, it needs those two things in abundance to repair itself. Finally, make sure you're getting enough water. That's about all I can say on that front. Good luck!!

Where are you in your marathon training?

Personally I do struggle to eat back all of my cals after almst every run now.

Sadly I have to agree here. I made the mistake of trying to get to "race weight" last year while building for a marathon. Even just cutting 10lbs during the build left me flat the whole time. This time around I am only sitting about 4lbs over where I would like to race, so I think I am in a better position to eat enough to fuel.

Calorie restriction and endurance training seem to be mutually opposite pursuits.

My case might not be quite what you are worried about though. I was trying to go from 155 to 145 at 5'7" and training for a 3:15 marathon.
