Hi! Will you still lose the desired amount of weight if you go under your calorie intake and use the extra another day later in the week in order to eat a big meal?

Yes. Trying to average out calories for the week is fine. I prefer not to do it over longer periods just for ease of record keeping. But you can certainly shave some calories off one day and add them to another.

Your body has no clock or calendar when it comes to weight loss.

Hmm...not usually. I'll do this more within an actual day - ie. going out to dinner and knowing what dish I'm going to want, I will eat fewer calories during the day and then enjoy my whole restaurant meal.

Plenty of folks eat say 100 calories less everyday during the week so they can have those extra cals on the weekend.
I pat more attention to my weekly deficit rather than my daily one.
There is also a thing called zig zagging your calories. As long as you meet your weekly deficit you're all good
