hi, living in Australia, been vegetarian for a year - sadly no automatic weightloss, but find not eating meat surprisingly easy. Still surprised, though, what a big deal people can make out of it. Decided I had eaten animals for long enough to give it (and them) a break. Am not dogmatic about it and will on occasion cook meat for my partner, but am very happy with my personal decision. Still enjoying organic dairy and think that's a good compromise for me.

Ha ha, yea. It has always surprised me that it bothers people when they find out I'm vegetarian. I've been one for 11 years, and still get the "But why?" Welcome and good luck!0

CICO, you are probably eating more than you think.0

Indeed, counting calories has been a bit of an eye-opener :-)0
