What are some diet foods people have been eating and actually helping them lose weight!?

    All food is lovely. I portion appropriately. Lots of fruits and vegetables. If I need volume and I have gone through my calorie allowance, I keep dry popped popcorn around.

    Tonight I had pizza and pie. Yesterday I ate like 5 servings of ricotta. I've lost 31 pounds.

    In all honesty very few foods help you lose weight. Coffee and green tea may help due to caffine intake. Protein is suggested also... The key is eat less than you burn. For some of us.. This is low carb...others it is moderation. Find what works for you and stick with it. It is not magic... Just a plan and patience.

    To satisfy my urges, depending on my mood, I eat:

    * a pinch of almonds
    * a pinch of roasted sunflower seeds (lightly salted)
    * one spoonful of yogurt (only one heaping spoonful)
    * Lots of teas (Bigelow, Yogi, Celestial Seasonings)
    * small bits of dried fruit (be careful, they're loaded with calories)

    After 9 p.m. I stop ALL eating!! Flavored sparkling water (0 calories) until bedtime
