Flu-like symptoms 2-3 hours after working out?

I've been having this issue since September 2014 now. I'll go do a light workout at the gym- 15 min cardio, and then do leg exercises and ab work. I come home and eat dinner.. and after I eat dinner I start getting a headache. I go to sleep and wake up with a slight fever, sore throat, and headache. When I actually get up and eat breakfast, the sore throat/fever mostly goes away but the headache doesn't and I generally feel *kitten* for like 2-3 days after ...so I'm afraid to workout again and end up sick. This is worrying me because I'm only 20 years old with a very healthy diet, and used to do high intensity kickboxing 4 times a week with no issue. Now whenever I try to get back into my routine, I feel awful the next morning.

Vitamins I take: one a day multivitamin, flax seed oil, B12, and D3.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Are you getting plenty of hydration? Headaches are often because of this and I get them occasionally after a good workout. Try taking some Ibuprofen after the gym and see if this helps.

All of that said, you may want to check with your doctor to make sure there isn't anything else going on. Good luck!

Given that pattern, which includes headache and fever, and general feeling of unwellness that persists for 2-3 days, I would get a medical consultation. Something is not right.
