Hi
Today I found out I'm pregnant so the 'loosing weight ' is not going to happen if it's a viable pregnancy.
I go to the gym and trying to learn how to lift. So my diet is increased protein and whey protein. . Is a higher protein diet and whey going to harm the pregnancy?
I do not want to stop going to gym altho I'm not going to loose weight I still want to try to build muscle and get/stay as healthy as I can during this pregnancy as I'm
obese so I I still want to try to keep my fat levels down as possible.

Talk to your practitioner, you will get all kinds of advice here. You need to talk to someone who knows you and your circumstances. Someone who has real knowledge of what will give you and your baby the best outcome.0

I would ask all those questions of your doctor, not on a public forum. Other peoples' experiences might be interesting, but they're not necessarily going to be your experiences. Congratulations, and I hope all goes smoothly!0

Congratulations on your pregnancy. Definitely speak to your own doctor regarding diet and exercise. In the meantime I would avoid any heavy lifting and stick to low impact cardio. Eat a balanced diet until you speak to the doc.0
