wats good to eat before a wrk out?

Hi everyone...i go to the gym straight from.wrk...so was jus wondering wat kind of meal wld b best to eat at lunchtime?..many thnks peeps

    It's really up to you. I know that's not very helpful, but it's the truth. A big lunch will slow some people down. Others, it may energize for the rest of the day. Some people don't eat at all, or rely on caffeine for energy. Some maybe have some fruit an hour or so before.

    Really, there is no right or wrong answer - try some different things and see what you respond best to.

    I go right after work as well- and I typically have a yogurt around 345-4 PM- and leave work between 430-5 to go lift.

    Keep in mind I'm lifting- not running. If I was doing a cardio class or a running thing- I might have an even smaller snack- or push it back to like 3. I don't like doing ANY cardio with food in my stomach. But I can lift with a snack.

    I have a reasonable 3-500 calorie lunch around 1230 as well.

    But like Jackson said- it's up to you.
