What do you need to share?

I've just had the best lunch, I just have to share.

I was thinking of all the discussions about being able to eat whatever you like as long as it fits your calorie goal and how some would rather eat 'clean' rather that IIFYM. I fancied a McDonalds breakfast but didnt want to spend 430 on a sausage and egg McMufin so I tried to make my own. It's only my first attempt but still managed to shave 50 calories but it was delicious!

pork sausage meat 109
brioche bun 159
kerry low low cheese slice 39
spinach 3
egg 70

I'm going to check out lower cal buns (but the brioche does add a sweetness) and I could leave the spinach out but that's only 3 cals of it!

Ah, who cares! It was yummy!!

You know, when I make my own burgers and fries at home, they are always half the calories than very much the same restaurant version. I don't know why?!

The only difference I know of is that my fries are baked. I can't eat deep fried fries anymore, they made me sick once, and ever since then the smell just makes me nauseous.

But I try to keep the burger the same. Still lower cal. Weird but true.

That sounds delicious! I feel like the brioche bun probably makes the sandwich, I would swap the meat before I swapped that (but then again I don't eat meat so I'm biased lol )

The brioche and the cheese make it. The rest of the ingredients are just fillers. (I had chicken, mayo and Turkey bacon yesterday) What a great diet. Eat cheese and brioche and still loose weight! Love it!

I made spaghetti squash for the first time a few weeks ago and substituted it for noodles in my turkey spaghetti. It was great! Real tasty and I save tons of calories :) Which allowed me to enjoy some cheese on top!

I recently had a chicken pesto wrap at a restaurant. I recreated it at home for I'm sure a fraction of the calories ... Shredded chicken, low carb wrap, roasted red peppers, steamed spinach and 1 tablespoon lower calorie basil pesto (60 calories for that)!! So good I wanted to tell everyone I know about it :)

Flat Out pizzas. One flat out light Italian wrap, turkey pepperoni, mozzarella, bell peppers, and sauce. I like the Prego heart smart sauce. Less than 300 calories for the whole thing. Plus lots of protein and fiber.
