Weight loss and relaxed ligaments?

I don't really know how to describe this. But sometimes when I walk I feel like my ligaments are loose. It's comparable to that feeling you get when you're pregnant and your body produces more relaxin. I'm definitely not pregnant, but it makes me a little nervous because I don't want to get injured doing something like walking around the house, then having to put my exercising on hold. So does anyone know if exercising produces more relaxin? Or what the heck is going on?
Also, does anyone here wake up with stiff ankles and/or feet? Looking for some exercise/stretching ideas first thing in the morning so I'm not hobbling when I get out of bed. Is this from being on my feet more during the day?
Or are these problems just old age kicking in at the ripe young age of 31?
