Homemade protein bars?
Could you make a homemade protein bar without using a protein powder? I have seen whole food based protein shake recipes but wanted to try making bars without using whey powder. What ingredients could you add for protein without a ton of calories? Any ideas?

Don't have a Pinterest. Don't plan on it. What are they? I looked on Google but can't find anything that really adds protein without powder0

Bob's Red Mill Textured Vegetable Protein.
12g protein, 80 calories per 24g serving (that's 1/4 cup dry measure).
Its just crunchy little dried protein nuggets, with a very neutral flavor profile. I use it in all kinds of stuff, and baked it into homemade fruit-and-nut granola style "protein" bars yesterday. Very tasty.0
