I asked that ^^^ database to show foods listed by protein levels for 100g, and here's the result:
    http://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/nutrients/report?nutrient1=203&nutrient2=&nutrient3=&fg=&max=25&subset=0&offset=0&sort=c&totCount=8372&measureby=g

Some fish is on the first page.
Eggs are highly rated, as are gelatin, tofu, whey protein, soy meal, sesame seeds, soybeans, yeast.
Surprisingly, beef & venison start on page 3.

    1. Greek Yogurt and fruit (kiwis, mangoes, organic apples are best)
    2. Greek yogurt smoothies!
    3. Black beans and cheese (so good)
    3. Organic walnuts or almonds (non-organic uses too many pesticides) in oatmeal
    4. Chicken tortillas--super fast and versatile
    5. Egg sandwhiches
    6. Stir fry chicken with veggies and any Asian sauce
    7. White bean soup with kielbasa and kale!
    8. Peanut butter
    9. Add flaxseed to everything and supplement with Biotin and Omega 3s
    10. Lentil soup with garlic
    11. Hummice and purple cabbage wraps
    12. Quinoa or couscous with avocado, veggies, salsa and maybe meat

This is a super cheap diet that requires almost no cooking skills. And it's really cheap!

I usually get in 140 - 160g (supplemented by whey or casein most days) a day. I'm not suggesting that amount but my diary's open, feel free.
