Here I go!

So, I was really nervous to post something in a forum. I just started like two days ago. I've tried Nutri-System, WW, and just plain dieting. All would have been very successful, but I didn't stick to it!! So, I'm starting here. Again. I wrote a blog immediately because I haven't written in so long, and it felt good. I'm just nervous to start. It's strange, but sometimes I feel out of place, even in a weight-loss community, talking about my weight-loss. But, I feel that the more I do it, the more I'll lose! So, here I am. The main reason I feel out of place is because I'm young, I have A LOT of weight to lose to get to my healthy weight range, and I don't have a kid. The last one may sound silly, but so many women are losing weight they gained from having a baby. I just gained the weight, minus the baby! Anyway, I'm starting out. My parents are doing this with me because we're all doing it together, which helps SO MUCH, but I feel the more people I communicate with and the more people I get in touch with, the more people I will feel hold me accountable to my weight loss and keep my motivated! And, don't let my "out-of-place" feelings fool you, I'd still like to connect with people that are older (or younger), don't have as much to lose, or have had children. So, hello everyone!

Right there with ya girl! No baby...but I have the weight. My fiance and I just bought an elliptical a couple of weeks ago. I'm more determined than he is I think. He only has a little pudge on his belly, so he doesn't have to do anything too strenuous. I'm at 165 now and want to get down to 135. I was somewhere in that area when we started dating almost 3 years ago. I am tired not having pants that fit me. I have an entire trash bag full of clothes that I am getting rid of because I'm too big for them. He still thinks I'm hot, but sometimes I don't feel that way about myself...so I want to do this mostly for myself but I think a little for him too. I'm even going to post my progress on FB. Quite a few of my friends have done that already so I figured I'd join in. It's a journey, but I think we can make it.0
