Yes! This one used to drive me nuts, along with "no worries" and the really sad thing is now I hear myself saying them both. Argh!!!

Several years back, in place of "by the way" I once heard someone say "B T Dubs" and I thought it was cute. Now I just use it to embarrass/piss off my 16 year old daughter.

Rad, dope, word.. I still use all of them. Never heard of salty lol. "Crunchy"! We used to say "don't you feel crunchy?" Like don't you feel stupid? Lol.

These days, crunchy is used to describe hippies/hipsters..."crunchy granola" type people.

Hurt (as in ugly or messed up) is a word I remember being used a lot when I was in middle school. "Dude, his face is HURT."

    Actually it's "23 Skiddo"

I am Native new yorker, who went to school in the Flatiron district, so i learned some of the history of this:
23rd & Madison is a interesting cross-section, where 23rd intersects both 5th avenue and Madison Avenue (it is also home the the world famous Flatiron building).
    Flatiron_crop.jpg

So due to the unusual cross-section, and owning to NY's steel valleys and mountains, this particular corner was often hit by crosswinds, that would oft blow up the skirts of the ladies passing by. The local rifraff would hangout at this corner to catch a glimpse of leg or thigh until a 'copper' wold break it up. This happened often enough that the men developed a warning to each other, whenever a police officer was in sight:

    "23 SKIDDOO!"

I am terrible with saying "no worries" it's my go to for "don't sweat it" lol. I also say "dude" way too much. Oh and "jinkies" thanks a lot Velma (scooby doo).

I still say "dude". I call a police detector "fuzzbuster". I say "willy nilly".

Words/phrases no longer used: "dooooi" (is that even how it was spelled), similar to previous - "duh," "as if," "whateverrr," "fine" when talking about someone being attractive but it must be pronounced "foooyyyyyne!" haha "chill pill"

Nice. All good ones. I still use willy nilly. Lol

Nailed it! Oh I thought of one but it's a sound not a word. Its when you purse your lips a bit and have your teeth together mouth closed and you suck backwards making almost a tsk sound, but it's basically the sound you use when you're saying "whatever" an attitudy head roll usually follows it . I don't hear that sound much anymore

I work at a nursing home doing physical therapy so I use a lot of old sayings for instance:
I still say yes sir, yes ma'am
    Bless his/her heart
Buns as in squeeze your buns on that squat
    Basket Case
    Stop giving me flak (trouble)
Egg in your beer (too much of a good thing)
