Is 1,500 the minimum for guys this other app said I could go lower than that I'm starting tomorrow I'm just wondering

Any reason you need to go lower? 1500 is pretty low for a male age 22
I was under the impression 1200 was the lowest but maybe that depends on activity level you entered.

Oh man idk anything about fitness or how many calories you need daily I was just wondering I downloaded a few other apps and they said my goal was like 1,219 because I wanna drop 2 pounds per week lol and my activity level right now is very light from the winter and stuff that's gonna be changing soon when the weather is better ill be more active and maybe it's better to listen to this app than the others this seems more legit lol0

2 pounds a week is pretty aggressive and generally recommended for people with more than 50 pounds to lose.
You have 17 pounds to lose - a more realistic goal would be .5lbs/week.
And yes, for a male 1500 calories is really the minimum.0 -
Like 17 pounds or 15 I'm 139 now and wanna get down to like 125 or 122 I'm like 5'6 my arms Are like that I have tiny arms lol0

My recommendation would be to start lifting weights and focus on re-comping your body instead of losing weight. Look into doing something like Stronglifts 5x5 and eat more food, please.0 -

Thanks for the recommendation I'm gonna get into lifting weights but I am gonna loose the weight I gained from quitting smoking and I'm a vegetarian and I eat very good and I eat plenty but thank youuuu0

When I said tiny arms I ment my lower arms like near my wrist area lol I have muscles lol not crazy huge ones but I do that pic makes my arms really thin looking im gonna change it that was during a master cleanse anyway lol and I used to be 125 years ago it's like a good weight the weight I have on now people say I carry it we'll I'm not really comfortable at the weight I am I'm happy with my self and my life but I wanna change my weight though0

Oh Alrighty sorry I didn't see this until just now my I pad for some reason isn't showing me everyone's replies but I wanna do at least 1 pound a week I know my body once the weather gets better and I'm doing more the weight will just fall off lol0 -
