Interesting article about the growth in protein-supplemented drinks for non-body builders

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22753620
"Protein supplements do have a place used once a day after muscle-building training, but most people - including regular gym goers - would find that milk contains the right combination of protein and carbohydrates for rehydration and repair" says Azmina Govindji of the British Dietetic Association.

I'd have to drink a lot of milk to equal the 50g of protein in my protein shake. I'd also be getting a lot more calories where my shake is only 240 calories (so 200 of those calories are from protein).

It's only poison if you cook it in a death box.

I find the bbc laughable when it comes to nutrition advice.

Yes, I'm going to listen to an island that fries everything and treats salt as an exotic spice.

And then you will be both dead and alive until someone opens the box.

Plus, I'm sure the BBC would never release biased information.
