I signed up over a year ago on MFP but just started seriously using this over a week ago. I'm on here to become a healthier ME! I am 38 (almost 39), Mom of 4 amazing girls and am tired of being unhealthy. I weigh about 238lbs. One of my goals is to be below 200lbs by Sept 29. I am a bridesmaid in my good friends wedding. Disappointed with myself for having to squeeze into a size 22 dress, I ordered the size 20. Every time I want to shove food in my mouth I remind myself of the bridesmaid dress that I can't zip up completely.
I am having some difficulty sticking to 1200 calories a day. I love food! The taste, the smell.................and that is why I weigh 238lbs. I thought MFP would be a good place to meet people who are in the same boat. It's good to know I'm not alone in this journey. C'mon everyone-LET'S GET HEALTHY TOGETHER!

    Hi there,

    I'm in the same boat as you about food - I love food (esp chocolate) and am a terrible comfort closet eater - a very bad combination when trying to loose weight!
    I would be glad to share your journey with you and offer up some support. I'm trying to make some changes as well and become a healthier person.
