What sort of snacks can I eat to reach my fiber goal?

    Whole fruits, veggies, popcorn, whole grain crackers.

    I've tried Fiber One bars....yuck! The fiber comes from chicory root (insulin) .....very gassy.

    Beans, kale, broccoli, lentils, rasberries, green peas, sunflower seeds, almonds, pears (with skin), Brussels sprouts.

    Raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, avocado, artichoke, broccoli, cauliflower, peas, green beans, lentils, lima beans, okra, carrots.

    fruits, veggies, legumes, and nuts are the healthiest sources. Apples are a very convenient source of fiber.

    Yep. Everything listed above. And if you get your fiber from whole foods (rather than fiber one bars) on a regular basis, you'd be well along the way to eating the recommended servings of plant foods.
