I'm a child of the 50s, back in the days when we had 4 stations (maybe) with rabbit ears on the TV and you had to get up and walk across the room to change the channel. And then don't move because maybe it would cause the vertical or horizontal on the TV to start rolling. But we had some great cartoons back then. Of course Rocky and Bullwinkle. But it wasn't until later when we were adults that we started to realize what Jay Ward had really buried in there. There are so few people who realize where the name Boris Badenov comes from, it's sad. Brilliant comedy as well as social commentary, that most adults of the time didn't get. One of the greatest shows ever written in any medium.

But most were just fun. Here's a few of my favorites. Some were short lived series, but they were all actual series on networks at one time.
