Only got in 1,200 hobbling steps because of foot surgery.

You've got to take it easy for awhile.... <3

I did yesterday. Read and watched boring daytime TV. But am hobbling a little better today. Will do just a little more each day. Thanks for you thoughts.

Thanks Jill. It is supposed to be a really nice weekend here in NC.

My husband is taking me up on the Blue Ridge Parkway to have brunch at a winery. I have been saving some calories from each day because I know it will all be tempting.

PS - It is also my BD so I only have to have one celebration.

I've been stuck between 7500 and 8000 steps for the past few days. Yesterday was the first time this week when I hit over 10,000 again (yey!)

I had my foot surgery last Wednesday and have not been able to do my steps. Just a few hobbles but today I managed to put on my sneakers and did 5,000 total steps. It felt so good to be able to move and burn some calories.

Hope to be back to 10,000 steps in a few days. I have missed doing them.

When i went to visit family SC i took my pedometer with me and i ONLY clocked in about 2,000 steps!!! It's insane how inactive one can be by simply living in the suburbs and having to rely on a car for EVERYTHING!!! I live in NYC and i can clock in 20,000 steps EASY! Coming back from SC was a relief because I felt so lazy.

    Sunday. Rest day 2803 steps
    Monday 10,324 steps
    Tuesday 14,160 steps.
So i started something new with the steps challenge, got a colleague to join me in the challenge through lunch break walks to bank or fast food to get his lunch. That was how I was able to clock 14k today. Looking forward to tomorrow's walk already.
