Jawbone UP Move

Sometimes Myfitnesspal gives me a jawbone calorie adjustment for steps and sometimes it does not. When I am getting a calorie adjustment is that from the exercise that my app is registering or is it from steps only? Should I be logging my exercise in the Myfitnesspal app as well or if that is "double dipping" on calorie credits?

It's from both steps and exercise, so don't double log.0

No need to log step-based activity—your Move is tracking it for you. Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking) either in UP or in MFP—never both. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your UP burn during that time, so you never "double dip."0 -
Your MFP calorie goal is your activity level minus your deficit. Adjustments are the difference between your UP total burn (TDEE) & your MFP activity level.
When you get a zero adjustment, it means you're burning fewer calories than your activity level. You must enable negative calorie adjustments.1 -
