Tired of every diet in the book!

Just joined and am looking for new friends to keep me motivated and hopefully we can support each other! I don't know what else to do! Every diet I have ever tried has resulted in a massive fail and now it's summer and I need to fit into those summer clothes! Good luck to everyone, let me know what has worked for you?

    Figure your TDEE based on current exercise/activity level and eat at a 15-20% deficit. That should result in a loss of about 1 to 1.5/lb per week.

    That's what is working for me.

    I hear ya! Before joining last dec, I had tried all the fad diets out there....maybe lost a few pounds, but nothing worth while. To this day, I have lost 40.4 pounds (reached my goal weight a few weeks back) and am working on toning up the "flab." On this journey, I've lost 7 pants sizes and 3 shirt sizes. :) Feel free to add me!
