Forgot name of gym owner

He greets me by name every day (though to be fair he sees it every time I swipe). I heard his name once when I signed. I think he's noticing I don't know his. What's a suave way to figure it out?

Or maybe he's not the owner, I think he's the manager. But a few people trade off manning the desk, not sure googling would help.

Ask the people at the desk. Or ask him. I am not good with remembering people's names if we don't speak to each other much. I usually say "I'm FirstName. I know we've met but could you remind what your name is?"

Thank you I would if there were anyone else! It's a tiny gym - just one person's ever there (usually this guy. I'd assumed from the way he talked when I signed that he was the owner or manager, but it might be there's a secret money wizard behind a curtain and this guy is the desk person.)

I've been going since last summer; I feel like it's a bit late to say, "by the way, what are you called? And who are you, really..." Maybe it'll be fine, though, if I say something like, "I'm so embarrassed, I never quite caught your name when we first met. I'd like to apologize for not clarifying at the time. My hearing's a little bad [it kind of is in one ear, from concerts - he speaks super quietly too ] but that's no excuse."

He seems sensitive, not sure how he'd take it Lol at me letting this go on for so long!
