Without any knowledge of your stats, it's hard to say if 1700 calories is too much. I know that I lose 1 pound per week pretty consistently at that level.0

the more exercise u do the more calories needed. I have a reg of 1500 calories and exercise 1300 calories burn which gives me 200 calories however when u burn off calories u need to take in more the calories I burn off I need to read to my diet otherwise ur body freaks out only thinking u had a 200 calorie day...so my overall intake because of my high exercise diet is an additional 1200 calories which means I need to take in 2300 or a bit more wach day to maintain a 1500 calorie intake to loose 2 pounds a week goal0

If you run your stats through the MFP calculator it should give you a good place to start. Have you been eating at about 1700 calories? Are you losing? Then it is right.0
