New to MFP. Need motivation and Support

Hi all. Just want to get back in shape by quickly dropping 15 kgs. Am not sure about the composition of various dishes given on the site. Need help on how to calculate calorie of custom cooked food. Your motivation and support will surely be required. Thnx

    Hey there :)

    Remember losing weight takes patience and dedication, don't try to rush it. Stick to your goals and it will pay off. All my food entry's are custom.

    Go to Food>MyFood>Create Food.

    Remember to check the nutrition values on EVERYTHING you eat at home. When I buy a product, the first thing I'll do is write down its nutrition values and type it in to MyFitnessPal so I won't have to do so again in the future.

    Let's say you cook an omelette in the morning and you use 3 whole eggs, 1 tbls Olive oil, 20g cheese and 50g of chicken.

    Get the nutrition values of each of these items, enter them in one by one into your food diary, mix them together andstart cooking! :)
