I have been allowing fitbit to adjust the number of calories I eat. I have also been logging my runs on MFP. I think that the combination is doubling my calories burned. I am wondering what others are doing in this situation.

Don't log it into MFP. You are correct it is doubling your calories burned.

I think if you enter the time of the run when you log it into mfp it won't double log. I could be wrong, but that's how I understand it.

There's a Fitbit group that you may want to join - there's a sticky with a whole bunch of info.

I'm going to be logging step-based stuff in Fitbit from now on since I think I was seeing the same thing. If I log a run in Fitbit, it'll just take the steps from the time I give it and assign different calorie burn if needed. Logging in MFP seemed to be double-dipping, even if I was setting the time.

It's possible that things aren't syncing up like they're supposed to and that could be why it's not working as intended.
