Appearing to lose weight when not losing weight?

Everyone says it looks like I'm losing weight - but I'm not. The scale still says the same old number, and all my measurements are the same (bust, waist, hip, upper leg, butt ect).

Anyone have an idea what's going on? I haven't told anyone of my weight loss goals, so they aren't pandering.

are you gaining muscle? muscle is denser than fat so you will look smaller but weigh the same or even more.

I get that all the time. I haven't lost anything since October, but I still get people saying I need to stop losing. It's all perception.

I thought muscle too, since on top of my fitness regime I've started a new job that involves heavy lifting, but can you be gaining muscle but still have the same waist measurements and such?
