Reminding myself...

I've lost 10 pounds now and I feel like I should be elated, but in truth I keep thinking about how I was at this weight only 3 months ago - before Christmas and 3 weeks in Indonesia (turns out central Javanese food has a tremendous amount of sugar and I didn't even pretend to try to exercise). So really I just feel that after a month of work I've gotten nowhere - just back to the starting point.

SO I'm trying to remind myself of the NSVs that go along with this to keep myself positive:
1. My bras have not been digging in and are actually quite comfortable even at the end of the day
2. I have seen some difference in the mirror
3. my boyfriend noticed
4. I feel lighter and stronger when I jog and don't have to pause 2-3 times in the middle of one anymore.
5. I don't feel like an overflowing lump when I sit on the couch - my body feels much cleaner
6. I've been at enough of a deficit some days that I can treat myself without guilt. Cheers.

Anyway - thank you for reading, it feels good to get it out there
