I once had an African King Boa loose in the room where I was sleeping for two weeks. Totally illegal where I was living, wasn't mine. The girl it belonged to had it an an aquarium not a viv, and that fat boy didn't like me one bit.

After four nights of hearing it mad and hissing I relocated to the couch.

Finally when the shady guy who imported it came to find it. I happened to be ... using the bed with a friend at the time. He was not happy to be greeted by the sight.

Snake was under the bed. True story.
