Hello...
Here is a little of my story...When I was in my teen's I always maintained my weight pretty well, I stayed around 125 pounds. I got married very young, I was pregnant with my first child when I was 18. And we lost her, She was stillborn. I had gained over 50 pounds during my pregnancy. every since that day It has been an up and down battle with my weight. The highest I have gotten was 275.... Last year I had a very scary wake-up call... I was rushed to the hospital with chest pains and blood pressure of 210/113 ... I started exercising and watching what i ate..I weight 245 at the time of the hospital visit and had got down to 195. Then my husbands mother had a stoke and it was discovered she had 5 brain aneurysms... Yes I said 5! One had ruptured and caused the stoke. remarkably she survived but needed 24 hr care... we brought her in are home to live with us. I became her full time caregiver. Needless to say my exercising came to a halt. I was not only taking care of my mother in law but my grandchildren as well....She has since passed, and I have gained all the weight back. I am scared with my blood pressure and a lot of stress, that if I don't get my self back on the right track... something bad will happen... So I am determined to get back to my weight of when I first got married... I would love to be around to see my grandchildren grow up... would love to have Motivation Partners and would do my best to motivate others... friend me if you would like...

Thank you!
Brenda

Hey, I'm sorry for your list and wish you much success in your weight loss.. Even when you don't feel like working out just show up any ways and remind yourself the reason you started

Welcome back. If you'd like to add, let me know. I too, took a "hiatus" of a few months, which cost me about 20 pounds of my progress. Highest weight (that I know of) was 264 when I first joined MFP but likely more than that since I never weighed. Final goal is 150. Add me if you wish.
