Running Uphill

A good friend of mine coached track on the college level for 16 years and, the other night, he gave me a great tip for running up the big hills near my house. He told me to lean into it, imagining someone up top gently pulling me up, but ALSO, he said to repeat to myself (out loud or quietly), "I love hills!"

And you know what? It helps!

Just thought I'd share. : )

    I say the same thing while I'm running them. But I'm starting to think I'm just lying to myself. Great workout though.
