Why do different applications give a different amount of calories?

I decided to try a new food logging application on my phone (still using MFP, but wanted to see how I liked this new one). MyFitnessPal has been at 1690 calories a day, while the LifeSum (the new one) has me at 2152 kcal a day. I know kcal and calories are the same. I'm just curious as to why they would be so differing in the number I should have a day, both of these numbers are before burning any calories.
I'm sorry if this is in the incorrect section, please move it if so.

Not familiar with LifeSum but it looks interesting. Assuming you set the same inputs for yourself, target loss rate etc it may be using different factors for exercise or different equations for BMR.
A difference that big looks like different inputs to be honest.0
