This is week 7 of my weight loss, and everyone is telling me I am loosing weight too fast.
I want to loose a total of somewhere around 100ish pounds, and so far I lost 24.
I eat about 1500-1900 calories daily, and I am not starving.
I also attend the gym 6 days a week for an hour doing cardio.
I do not want loose skin, any suggestions? And no I did not loose all this the first week (only about 5 pounds my first week), I am half way through my 7th week and I am already down 3.5 pounds

start a weightlifting program and set your calories to accommodate a 1 lb per week loss.

How many lbs a week have you lost? I think as long as you are consuming the recommended number of calories, you are eating some of your exercise calories back and you feel good, then carry on as you are. Ive been told the same thing but I feel great and have no problem eating more if I'm hungry.

If you aren't eating back your exercise calories, start adding 50% of them in. If you are, or if after a few weeks you're still losing fasterthan you should, change your deficit to 1.5 pounds per week (which you're about at the suggested point to anyway). That is an amazing loss, but yes it's too fast.

Almost everyone here will tell you that you are losing weight too fast, but I do not necessarily agree, provided you are getting proper nutrition and exercising smart, ie, getting enough rest for your body to rebuild after the exercise tears it down.

I had 76 lbs to lose and have so far lost 50 lbs in 10 weeks. No loose skin here. I attribute this to doing a lot of swimming, which requires a lot of body movement and extension of muscles. I do very intense work-outs (swimming 3 miles continuous) and get plenty of rest in between work-outs. It feels like my skin is naturally responding to the needs of the exercise and reshaping itself to accommodate my activity. I only have time to work out three times per week and sometimes only once, but I am already in good enough shape to make those work-outs count. The rest/rebuilding phase is extremely important to getting in better condition. The goal should be maximum fitness, not maximum calorie burn.

The more weight you have to lose, the faster you'll lose it! It seems like you're doing fine now, about 3ish pounds per week. It will slow down on its own in time and balance out.

Congrats on your amazing start :)
