Hello everyone! My name is John and I just started using MFP again after not touching it for about a year. I'm a disabled veteran and due to my disabilities and medications, I packed on many pounds of fat in a relatively short amount of time. I kept making excuses as to why I couldn't get back in the gym and eat right because of depression and pain so I kept gaining weight. I used MFP last year and only walked every day, I lost some weight and I felt great until I started chaffing something fierce, so I threw the towel in. I'm happy to say that since March 3rd, 2015, I started going back to the gym, eating right, and I've already started losing weight the right way! I was 244lbs. when I started that Tuesday, and as of today (March 22, 2015) before my workout, I weigh 232.3lbs.! The only thing that's kept me going this far is the thought of getting fit and getting back to where I was almost 4 years ago. I have a more positive outlook on life and health and I look forward to see where I'll be in 3 months, 6 months and a year from now!
