Is it normal?

to be freezing cold a few hours after working out? I've not worked out for about five years until this week. And as I was shivering the other day I remembered I used to feel that way before. Could it be because I'm just starting out again? I can't remember if this feeling continued or not last time

If you don't have a warm shower right away, then yes it's likely that you will be cold. As the sweat cools down and starts evaporating you will get cold, especially if you stay in your sweaty workout clothes.0

Make sure you're hydrating too. Our bodies need to be well hydrated in order to regulate body temp.0

I've always been that way too; even when I was fit. My daughter is the same way. I'm plenty hydrated. I think it's just from your body temperature dropping after the workout. I think it just takes different amounts of time for people.0
