Slack days

I was wondering if you all guys allow yourselves slack days. I honestly don't know if it is healthy not to have restriction-free days on 1240 cal/day diet. I had peanuts and two beers last night and now simply feel that I failed somehow, even though my calorie goals are very close to being ideal. I have lost weight before, so I try not to concentrate on little bumps here and there, since noone is perfect. Let me know what u think from your experience?

I don't deny or deprive myself, but I do control what I eat and how much. I also try not to save up or bank my cheat/slack day. If I go 100 calories more on a day here or there, so be it. Life happens. Peanuts and beer happens! Take care of yourself, of course, but don't be afraid to live your life. That's my philosophy (and I've lost almost 20 pounds and actually enjoy working out now!).
For an expert's perspective, here's Shaun T (Insanity, T25, etc): http://www.beachbody.com/beachbodyblog/nutrition/askshaunt-can-cheat-meal-week0
